What is Access Bus?
Access Bus is a door-to-door service for people who have difficulty in using conventional public transport.
Thousands of journeys are made each year on specially equipped AccessBus vehicles.
A number of free of charge AccessBus routes are operated by TLC travel and are available to eligible people throughout West Yorkshire by simply telephoning and booking your journey.
Who is eligible to use Access Bus?
Anyone of any age who is unable to use conventional public transport or who has extreme difficulty in doing so due to a disability, can register for the free AccessBus service. Passengers can take a companion with them if they require assistance while travelling or at their destination.
Registering for Access Bus.
People living in Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield Districts can get a registration form by telephoning the AccessBus enquiry line on 01274 304 297 between 7.30am and 4pm, Monday to Friday.
People living in the Leeds District can get a registration form by calling 0113 348 1900 between 7.30am and 4pm, Monday to Friday.
